What is Stardisk?"Stardisk" has been described in many legends all over the world: the Grail, the Emerald Stone, the Philosopher's stone, etc..... It is a legendary star created at the dawn of time by Beings of Light and its purpose is to help human beings evolve. Each of its points (there are 8 of them today, spread over the four corners of the globe) is a type of super-powerful transmitter that communicates with the most receptive humans (the "Contacted"). In turn, the Contacted help humankind advance by their great scientific, artistic, and other discoveries. The fiction is totally integrated into the evolution of humans in the last 50 years. In most cases, the information given is consistent with the scientific and historical reality. Photographic documents and videos provide the background of the game in which real actors participate. This game, designed at first for PC CD-ROMs is an investigation and adventure game oriented on a system based on video and pre-calculated 3D. Based on exploration, discovery and reflection, the product is also oriented towards information, accessible in data banks that are part of a fictitious computer network, that is indispensable in order to progress in the scenario. The system of the game is built on the use of video and pre-calculated 3D and does not impair interactivity in any way. Using a simple sprite, the player acts on the characters. For its part, the scenario uses the principles of interactivity since it is based on missions that players can accomplish in the order they wish, going from one to the other without necessarily finishing them. Only the first and last ones are necessarily located at the start and finish of the game in order to construct an effective scenario.
